My Pilates teacher Emma and I
She’s just a perfect Pilates teacher and a very lovely, caring and kind person. I love her smile and everything she does for her Pilates class. She keeps everybody fit with her encouraging and special way of teaching, puts so much energy in it and everybody loves her for it. Never mind the 60 minutes exercise which always went at a good pace.
Thank you Emma, your fabulous! :)
My Pilates family :)
Yesterday I had my last session Pilates and they all organised a “goodbye-party” for me. *Cheers*
I had such a good time there with this very welcoming and friendly people.
Great conversations, great fun and of course lots of exercise all in a very warm and enjoyable atmosphere. ;)
Aww.. I’ll miss this so much!
Keep on moving!
Take a breath and let it captivate you
I can hardly believe it. Time passes so quickly. I wish, at times, that we could have a remote that would slow down the moment. They all pass so quickly. It’s amazing to me to see the months I spend in England now roar by like a bullet train. But I can say it was an amazing, really great time!
On one hand I could improve my English, meeting new people, making good friends and different very valuable experiences, visiting places, having fun and so much more. On the other hand I could get to know myself better and realise what really counts in life. Not to take things for granted, but to be appreciative and satisfied having for example people who care about you.
For me and my future a big step which I won’t regret any time.
“But what minutes! Count them by sensation, and not by calendars, and each moment is a day.” - Benjamin Disraeli
Yesterday night Elishia and I went to the pictures to see the comedy “She’s out of my league”. It was hilarious, ‘cos we were like the only ones watching it :) It was so much fun! :D
Bear in mind the World Cup is on and almost the whole English population was in front of another screen at home or in a pub watching the match England vs. America. (They ended up with the result 1:1 - what a shame!)
Goodbye SLAM! Basketball
Yesterday was my last Basketball session with the boys and the ladies. So it was time to say goodbye to all my friends I made there. I had a great time with the guys. My coach Douaine Anderson is such a fantastic coach who puts so much effort into all this. He came from the USA, where he was a professional player, to Wolverhampton with the aim to coach younger people and give them all (doesn’t matter which age, origin or level they’re playing) an opportunity to play basketball, to compete against others and to have fun!
It’s just very impressive that this man gave up so much in America to come to this city for changing something and making a difference for boys and girls coming from a more or less poorer background. And I could feel it, he really made a difference to them in a sense of being able to be free, having fun and feeling accepted. All in all it was a great experience to play and compete with other guys, to be involved and accepted in the team. I won’t forget this!

HollyWOOD? not really… :D
